Coffee Break Description
Break the barriers to using video in the classroom with quick and easy techniques that keep the focus on learning and bring the power of video to regular classroom teachers.

Digital storytelling is an effective and much utilized educational strategy. Whether it be for practice or assessment, many technology focused teachers have made video an integral part of their instruction. However, there are drawbacks with using digital storytelling and video in the classroom. Many teachers feel they do not have the time nor the technical expertise necessary to effectively employ digital storytelling, and it can be a challenge to make sure video projects are focused on the content rather than the process.

Alleviate the obstacles to using video in the classroom by learning quick and easy techniques that keep the focus on learning content rather than the movie making process. These techniques will bring the power of video to any teacher at any level.
