SGVCUE members! As in previous years SGVCUE is in charge of staffing the evaluation station at the CUE conference in Palm Springs and this year we are turning to you for some help. Workers at the evaluation station have the simple job of handing out t-shirts to CUE members that have completed their evaluations. If you will sign up to help out you will also be given an additional opportunity for door prizes at the Member Reception at the conference. I just listened to a great session by
Dr. Curtis J. Bonk, Professor of Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University talking about the various ways learning is currently free and open using web 2.0 technologies.
You can also check out a streaming online video of the session here. This video site is interesting on its own right as it shows two windows, one with the video of the speaker, the other with the speakers slides advancing with the video.
