It’s Summer and there are various edtech events. My Twitter newsfeed is filled with tweets from educators across the US learning while feeling inspired and pumped for the next academic year. We’ve all felt it – the excitement of an edtech conference. Oh, yea, the buzz of the newest tools, the discovery of a shortcut that blows your mind, the updated version of a product that totally rocks your socks, a brand new strategy that you can implement tomorrow. Nope, “awesome” and “amazing” do not do justice to the sentiments felt at an ed tech conferences when you attend. Not to mention, the possible networking with like-minded educators and finally meeting your favorite Twitter edtech celebrities (Hi, Ann Kozma!).

With #NotatISTE and #NotatDENSI trends among others, it is evident that there are some educators feeling a bit left out of the action. It’s ok, no worries, we’ve got you covered. It’s not right away, but SGVCUE will help you mitigate those feelings with the upcoming SGVCUE Innovation Celebration on Saturday, October 14, 2017. It’s a SoCal local event and the general admission is reasonably priced ($55 CUE members; $65 non-members) if your school site or district cannot cover registration. Bring a Friend and you will receive a reduction ($50). The registration fee covers breakfast, lunch, t-shirt, raffle prizes, hands-on sessions, tech playground, and so much more. It will be a TechPD that you will absolutely enjoy. There’s no need to suffer from conference FOMO in the fall. Join us at SGVCUE’s Innovation Celebration. We look forward to connecting together!
